NOT LIKE THE REST!
Car shows are all year and hopefully it stays that way. At shows you take in the different cultures, the scenes and the people. One show stood out to us more than the rest, Altered Metal show in Rayne, Louisiana.
SO IT BEGINS..
What stood out the most was definitely the hospitality. Everyone greeted us and treated us as if we had known them forever!! Seeing everyone having a good time, laughing, smiling. The atmosphere and energy was like none other.
For everyone.
People come from all over, not just for the rides but the experience. The show is the definition of family friendly. Kids are seen running around and their eyes filled with inspiration as they look at all the rides. Games and activities are hosted for the kids right in the main area of the show. We happened to have our booth right in front of it, being able to see all the joy it brings.
Who’s Next?!
We have our own choice award for this show. Throughout show day we take turns away from the booth to talk to potential candidates for our award. We deep dive into the background of the build and most importantly get to know the person behind the wheel. To us it’s not about the fanciest or most expensive build. We care about the true enthusiast, who lives and breathes the culture.

59’ CHEVY APACHE
Oue choice for 2021 is owned by @ncducky of @negativecamber. We checked out the ride, the details and talked to the owner to get a sense of the man behind the wheel. Heard his story and about the process and we made our decision!
POWER COUPLE
In collaboration with @harveys.hack.shack our choice award for Altered Metal 2022 went to @eclecticartphoto and @tattooed__wonder, the award was well deserved. Their family’s passion for the culture has no words to describe. The fact that coincidently they were wearing our shirts the day we gave them the award, was definitely the cherry on top.
IT HAS BEEN AN HONOR.
It has been one badass collaboration working with the Altered Metal family.. To now be presenting the show says volumes of how much we love this show and all the people involved. From the staff to the attendees, we have made some epic relationships and we look forward to 2023.
